Marital, maternal, or paternal status shall not affect the rights and privileges of students to receive a public education or to take part in any cocurricular activity offered by the school.
Pregnant students shall be permitted to continue in school or, upon request, may automatically enroll in the District correspondence program. Participation of pregnant students in cocurricular activities requiring active physical exertion may be permitted without liability to the District although students may be required to secure written permission from their physician or a physician selected by the District.
