I offer a heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Clayton Holland who was selected by the Board of Education as KPBSD’s next Superintendent of Schools. I have known and worked closely with Clayton for the past sixteen years, and am confident that the school board chose the right person to lead this district into the future. Over the next four months until my retirement, I will work with Mr. Holland on a transition and onboarding plan to set him and KPBSD up for success. There is much work for us to do with filling vacancies in the KPBSD and building leadership positions, developing the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, celebrating our graduating seniors, closing out the current school year, and planning for the 2021-2022 school year.
