INSTRUCTIONS
A plan of career education concepts, activities and test evaluation procedures.
AWARENESS CONCEPTS AND ACTIVITIES
Grade 4
In view of the results, I would like my class to concentrate on statements: # ___, # ___, # ___ , # ___ , # ___ , this semester.
My goal would be to help my students to better understand the concepts of Career Education at this particular grade level.
A plan of career education concepts, activities and test evaluation procedures.
STEP 1 | The teacher will administer the pre test to the class in September. The purpose of this test is to determine the students’ understanding of basic Career Education concepts. |
STEP 2 | The pre test is scored and a summarization report of the class is completed by the teacher. Make two copies of the summarization report. (One copy to your principal and the second copy for your records.) |
STEP 3 | The teacher then begins to introduce the prepared concepts and activities to the class, placing particular emphasis on the items most frequently missed on the pre test. |
STEP 4 | The post test is administered in April. The purpose of this test is to determine if a change occurred from the previous testing. |
STEP 5 | The post test is scored and a summarization report of the class is completed by the teacher. Make two copies of the summarization report. (One copy to your principal and the second copy for your records. |

2 | 1 | Communication and mathematics are important tools in jobs which require accuracy. | Students prepare a bulletin board displaying tools of measurement. Brainstorm a list of ways that workers use communication tools. Students identify workers who need these tools. |

- Only a few jobs require the ability to work with numbers.

- Reaching our goals in class depends on how well our members work together.
- It is okay to come to work late if you are good worker while you are there.
- Family cooperation usually leads to family happiness.
